Abbotsford Residents Elect the 2022-2026 Board of Education

Abbotsford residents have elected three new school trustees and four incumbent school trustees to the Abbotsford Board of Education.

Korky Neufeld, Stan Petersen, Preet Rai and Shirley Wilson are returning school trustees, all of whom ranked within the top spots on the voting poll. The Abbotsford School District adds 3 new school trustees to the governance board for a four-year term - Rupi Kanda-Rajwan, Mike Rauch and Jared White.

The 2022-2026 Abbotsford Board of Education will officially be sworn in at an inauguration ceremony on November 15th, 2022.

The Abbotsford School District is governed by an elected seven-person Board of Education. Board members serve as school trustees and are responsible for the education of over 20,000 students in our community. School trustees sit on a number of school district and community committees, and act as liaisons to specific schools in the district. The Board meets regularly throughout the school year and meeting dates can be found on the Abbotsford School District’s website.
