The City of Abbotsford issued an evacuation order for the neighbourhood surrounding Semá:th Elementary due to flooding and the potential for further risk.
As a result, Semá:th Elementary will be closed Thursday, December 11, 2025. No students, staff, or community members will be permitted on site. Please do not attempt to attend the school for any reason until further notice.
